Ever since I first worked with the Russian made, Lomo LC-A camera in high school, I’ve always loved the results the eye-popping vibrancy of the colors and the crass vignettes it produced. I always wanted to add the LC-A to my collection but it was always so pricey as it primarily uses a film source, which can be rather expensive to develop nowadays. Like most modern photographers, I primarily shoot digitally, so I had to find a way of recreating that effect digitally. Here’s the result of a series of actions I created to automatically produce a grunge-style Lomo effect in Photoshop CS5.
